“Don’t panic!”

So says DF anyway:

I’m keeping my powder dry 🌞.

Here's another wrinkle regards recruitment:

Are the club/49ers getting cold feet on Farke?
Second year of a four year contract. Doubt they're
panicking over him. But, do they look at signings
that Frake wants and think "well player X fits his
system perfectly. However player Y could fit more
systems and therefore would be a player our next
manager could use and like."

Owners at some point have to consider 'the next
manager' when signing players if they have a shred
of doubt over the current one.

As I said earlier, I’m going to hold my fire hoping that we don’t make the same mistakes that we did last August. Some excellent point made above👍.

… and I’m not ignoring the fact that of our 23-man 1st team squad, 3 are essentially u-21/23(?) players and another 3 are keepers.

There's a stat doing the rounds that claims of all
the european clubs, Leeds have sold the second most players? Could mean generated second highest sales
revenue. If this is true, we must be in some deep
financial mud seeing as though our signings are next
to non existent so far.

One of the richest owners in teh world, host of high profile additional investors, huge red bull investment, over 100 mill of revenue from sales in last 12 months.

I think we have every right to be expecting more from these owners.

It's same pattern every year, same trite excuses, same old line of we only want players that will improve the squad blah blah blah.

Our prem loans rarely make an impact and rarely want to stay on.

Our business is generally done far too late in the windows.

It doesn't matter how much money comes in, we're effectively told there's no money to spend.

I dont think anyone in their right mind is expecting us to sell 120m of players and then to spend 120m.

But we're not expecting us to spend 10m and a loanee or 2.

I'm sure we will bring in more players but they really need to be players that we want and make a difference rather than Piroe type signing that really felt it was done to placate the fans.

Farke has his issues, but I like him and think 49ers do too, so I dont think he's too much under threat, but we hear far too much about this league being weaker than last season, those coming down not as strong as Leicester were etc, but this is the most difficult league in the world to get out of year after year and we have weaker squad than last year whilst all around have strengthened.

I dont know who these players are that will fit the systems, because, I dont know what the system is except for pass it around slowly a bit and then hope we can wriggle past 10 defenders in the box and then bring on every forward on 70 minutes.

I genuinely want Farke to succeed, but at this point this season looks remarkably that same as a start to last season.

By hook or by croook lets get past Boro and then an away win at weekend puts a different complexion on things, but the key issue right now is recruitment and building a stronger squad.

Doesn’t my after how rich the owners are they still have to operate under fair play rules.

Just listening to DF on LUTV talking about how our XG against us statistic under him is top class. It is a pity the actual goals scored against us is not
