Anyone know the Wales team? I assume it will be unchanged, don't fix it if its not broken as they say. The french talk a big game about their scrum but i think if the Welsh front row remains unchanged from Ireland then this should not be easy for france.
France have named an unchanged side from the one that beat England. The only weakness i see in the France team its the halfback partnership where they pick 2 scrum halves at 9 and 10. Parra is a very good scrum half but i have to say he does not always convince when at 10, despite a reasonable performance last week. With Francois Trinh-Duc a real 10 on the bench and a really good player in my book it show the usual mad professor modus operandi of that crazy manager Lièvremont. However with the size, pace and lines the welsh mid-field run this selection could be a massive mistake.
All that said. If the French click.... they can be world beaters.
I'm cheering for Wales, France don't deserve it in my opinion. They have been far too.... mmm French in the preceding games if you know what i mean.
France: 15 Maxime Médard, 14 Vincent Clerc, 13 Aurélien Rougerie, 12 Maxime Mermoz, 11 Alexis Palisson, 10 Morgan Parra, 9 Dimitri Yachvili, 8 Imanol Harinordoquy, 7 Julien Bonnaire, 6 Thierry Dusautoir (capt), 5 Lionel Nallet, 4 Pascal Papé, 3 Nicolas Mas, 2 William Servat, 1 Jean-Baptiste Poux.
Replacements: 16 Dimitri Szarzewski, 17 Fabien Barcella, 18 Julien Pierre, 19 Louis Picamoles, 20 Francois Trinh-Duc, 21 David Marty, 22 Cedric Heymans.
French Side Named for Wales.

Priestland in for Knoyle?

Not sure of the team, we are lucky enought to have some quality 'squad' players to slot in here and there without too much disruption I think.
The same makes sense IF they're fit. RP and LC were injured as was Roberts.... If they can't be 100%, is it worth playing them?
France don't look impressive on their stats in previous games so far. Their work rate is far lower than Wales. They didn't look like 'World Beaters' against a pretty poor England so I'm feeling fairly confident Wales can beat them. They have to be the same or better than all games so far, but they can do it I think.
COME ON WALES!

Gatland always likes to release his team after the opposition! Its a good tactic! I reckon he will release the team over night while us based in the UK are sleeping! It WILL be unchanged IF all the lads are fit, but if any of Charteris, Priestland or Roberts are not fit we have Brad Davies, Hook and Hook again/Scott Williams who can slot in easily. So not too much to worry about. Although all the noises from the camp suggest all three lads will start.
I agree with you entirely on the French, they can be a good outfit when they click, but their workrate and general stats have been far inferior to ours. If we play like we have been, I cannot see us losing it, even if France do bring a 'world beating' performance. B
Bring it on!! Alles les Reds !!!

WWW and HOOK.
Agree gents, something i forgot to put in the article is simply this.
Regardells of what french team turn up wales can beat them. Providing they play with the same intensity and skill they played with us last weekend.
I mean just 3 handling errors in 80 mins of a rain soaked game! That kind of consistency is scary good. And very rare! and i don't think the french can match that tho they can be incredible in broken field or if the game gets loose...
So i guess that would be the french tactics. They will try to dominate the scrum, which i dont think they can.
They will want to create quick ball, which every teams wants.... well except England maybe hehehe ..... I jest...
But wales have Warburton! and that boy is not for TURNING over quick ball (see what i did there )
I Think wales will need to kick well from hand. Ala against Ireland last week, no loose kicks for the French to counter attack and you will frustrate them and possible win the game comfortably.
Thats just my 2 cents
