Living in France

Is pretty good until tomorrow morning. Reading the Guardian to see any football news, then train into town, Something to eat and a pint at Sam's chop house, then the bus from Piccadilly getting more and more excited. Then the cheers when they ran out, it was the highlight of my week.
At halftime you could get the scores at the scoreboard end, not electronically, they had letters and put the scores underneath on a big piece of cardboard, you had to look in the programme to see who it related to.
Return, another pint and then tea.
Seeing games live is the tops, it's the vibe as we would say now.
Never looked at formations, it was 2-3-5, or tactics , it was attack.
Enjoy it you lucky lads who can go.

Off topic but can someone tell me what’s going on on the weekend 22nd March? No fixture, no FA cup fixtures and no England game, I’m away on a stag to Prague that weekend but no footy on? An evening with Paul Scholes on the thurs then 6am flight to Czech Republic the next morning

I think it's the knockouts of the nations league so might still be an international break. Or I could be completely wrong.

I’m not keen on politicians across the board, all the same to me. There maybe a few exceptions but most are full of shiiiit.

What does make me laugh though is how folk on the left and right really buy into their politicians thinking that they actually give a Fack about them

When K stand was built they started giving the halftime scores out on the PA and appeared on the electronic scoreboard in the top corner above K Stand whilst announcer Tommy Tyrrell of Piccadilly Radio fame called them out on the OT PA. A great hush would descend on OT as the scores were called out and the City and Liverpool scores were greeted with a a huge roar if either were getting beat.

Yep, Looking forward to find out how we look and get on tomorrow vs Fulham. I think.

If watching on TV check out the new Tunnel area decor refurb at OT where the players come out of the changing rooms. Apparently it no longer looks like the foyer of your local sports centre. About time too.

I love watching other footy matches in vivo, but for me, the only thing that comes close to watching United at OT is seeing a great band live.

It has been ten years or so since I last saw United in the flesh, and sometimes I miss it sorely.
