After the Huw Edwards thing they are probably taking a zero tolerance approach but they should have learned years and years ago. Disgraceful company

Jenas is probably thinking, 'if only I was a nonce I would have got away with it'

I'm not usually one to bring race into these situations but I can't help think that if Jenas was white he might have had an easier time.
Fair play to him for coming out and admitting it and showing remorse.
If your face doesn't fit at the BBC you will be hounded out. But if your face does fit, you'd have to practically be filmed murdering the director general in order to get the sack.

You're talking about the BBC here, it would be more a case that he's not black enough.
I don't know what was in his messages but I do feel a bit sorry for him with how quickly he's been thrown under a bus and cancelled. Fair to say he overstepped the mark but it hardly feels like the crime of the century. Sending a couple of inappropriate text messages to female staff would be like Jimmy Saville leaving the toilet seat up in his history of misdemeanours at the BBC.
Jenas is somewhat a victim himself of the times we're living in, on a corporation that is woke and cares more for the values of women than others.

Jenus has a history in playing the victim himself. Living in a poor little gold fish bowl years ago. Saying there are two sides to every story then a minute later admitting to sending pictures to co workers.
State of him.

He might still feel hard done by but realising after speaking to lawyers there's not really any way forward other than apologising.

Here's a challenge for this thread... How many women in the media can you name who have been in trouble for sending inappropriate messages?
It must happen but I can't think of a single example of a woman who has even been pulled up on it, which is interesting.
