INEOS have repeatedly told us as a fanbase that they want to build a culture of success at our great club. Well in any successful culture, be it in sport/business/life, you must also have ACCOUNTABILITY and it seems like we have got none whatsoever when it comes to our manager. It’s genuinely laughable that he’s still in charge.
Everyone knew come the end of last season that he had to go. A lucky cup win against a ‘drunk’ Man City side didn’t paper over the cracks of an eighth place finish, coupled in with some of the worst results and football we’ve seen at United since the 1980s. The likes of City, Arsenal, even Spurs ffs breathed a huge sigh of relief when INEOS bottled it and kept ETH in the summer.
Today was another example of why this fraud simply cannot be our manager. Third season in, hundreds of millions spent and yet ZERO style of play and zero tactics. We get a lucky goal to make it 1-1 and after that we looked terrified and happy with a draw against f**king Brighton! What excuse is there for ETH now? Does he need another 150m to compete?? Is Ugarte going to win us the treble????
Brighton’s manager has been in charge for 5 minutes and they outplayed us for fun today. He’s about 25 years old yet he’s already instilled a style of play, but after 3 years under ETH we look like the most nondescript team ever.
Don’t be fooled next week when we beat Liverpool with a park the bus and counter job either. I won’t be.
