We have played 2 games so far. 4 goals scored, 0 conceded.
Saka has set up 3 of those goals, and scored the other. He needs help in that final third - Martinelli finding some form would help, but he looks useless at the moment.
Man city have De Bruyne and Haaland. Liverpool used to have Salah and Mane. Arteta has to quit being afraid and bring in another superstar attacker to join Saka. He can't do it all on his own.
Bukayo Saka can't do it all on his own

Havertz has 1 goal, 1 assist and he got the final Arsenal touch to set up Trossard.
Trossard has a goal and a "pre-assist" in about 30 minutes.
Odegaard will get a lot of assists and "pre-assists".

He’s stepping up to another level this season. I believe we have enough players in attack to distribute the load, but Ode and Saka are clearly the X factor in the team.
Just need that depth as neither Nketiah nor Nelson are good enough to slot in.

It’s not about goals and assists, the OP is referring to moments of class. Saka’s goal made Havertz’ assist, that was a moment of class from Saka, as was the cross for Havertz goal, keeping the ball in with a great pull back. If you take Saka out of the team, we don’t seem to have that attacking player who can consistently deliver pure moments of quality,

Odegaard has more than the odd moment of class.

The 'hope' is that Merino will be the additional attacker from the left side. That will draw defenders and open up spaces for Trossard/Martinelli.
The big issue is Martinelli. What do you do with a player with a terrific ceiling but isn't producing? Trossard is very good against a tiring defence, but isn't really consistent starting!
Arsenal lack a clinical, direct player. Havertz is very good in his general play, but he doesn't have killer instincts or finishing.
A lot can be improved on and Arsenal are already going toe to toe with City. Imagine how good Arsenal can be if Edu/Arteta find a good replacement for Eddie!

Saka and Rice are both in their pre-season!

Damn, forgot about this article
I clearly meant we need another game breaker like saka. Martinelli absolutely stinks in the final third at the moment. Havertz isn't somebody that can produce magic on his own. Jesus is completely unreliable. Trossard is useful, but not the dynamic threat that saka is.
