So … and now for something slightly different 🌞.
Browsing the morning papers, I’ve just noticed the new Newcastle United 3rd shirt (wasn’t searching for it - honest!😁) https://shop.newcastleunited.com/products/newcastle-united-mens-24-25-third-shirt and in particular the logo on it.
Their logo’s similarity to our smiley badge is obvious … but what I didn't know is that they 1st used that badge in 1983 (of course our smiley badge dates from 1973 … were they influenced by our badge?), but it seems odd, or purely coincidental, that the very same time as we resurrect our smiley badge, NUFC go and do the same with their equivalent.
Don’t the shirt designers at Adidas have an original thought between them?😁

I agree - the only similarity is that 70s style typography. I don't think the Newcastle one stands the test of time as well as ours tho...

Talking non-first kits, I really like the Everton third kit. They might be better at baseball this season.
