Our cheeky chappie of a 'keeper is off to the South Coast for £18m with £7m of add-ons.
When he was signed it was a bit of a "what the fack" transfer, having suffered relegations with Bournemouth and Sheffield United. However, he quickly displaced Bernd Leno and became a fans favourite. In his second season he helped us challenge for the title and got us back in the Champions League.
However, last season Mikel Arteta's long term target David Raya came available, and Ramsdale was demoted. Interest from Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Ajax and Wolves came and went but now he joins Southampton.
Ramsdale was there for the Saints play-off win over Leeds, and returns to the South Coast and almost certainly another relegation battle.
Good luck to the lad...
Joan Garcia and Sam Tickle are rumoured to be coming in, with interest in Dan Bentley seemingly defended against by Wolves.
Farewell Aaron Ramsdale...

Sander Berge seems to be getting relegated all the time too, shame he didn't go to Man Utd....

Mad to me that he's gone so far down the table, he's not at the elite level but I think he should be playing European football and he'll only get better with age.
I guess for the clubs in and around those areas he wouldn't have been a big enough improvement on what they have, for the price touted.
Enjoyed having him here, wish him all the best.

I dunno. It was fun at the start. But when you go on a podcast admitting to the whole world you can't concentrate during games, you get what's coming. Even Ian wright looked at him like was an idiot.

That and his poor command of the box. Defenders need to be sure if you are coming for a ball or not. Funny all those hating on Raya have disappeared.

Good luck to him, proved his doubters wrong.

I wish him all the best for his future. It`s a bit sad to see him leave. Did little wrong at Arsenal. Top bloke.
