Transfermarket is not to be trusted but anything out of the mouths of City's owners is to be taken as gospel according to City fans.
Makes sense

"anything out of the mouths of City's owners is to be taken as gospel according to City fans"
I have never said that, and never will.
I highlighted 2 omissions in Transfermarkt.

-70m last 5 years?
City fans are as bad as their owners at making up numbers
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manchester-city/alletransfers/verein/281
167m in the red from what i made out. And thats with dodgy sheit like signing paying under market value for a la liga toty player for 20m cause he plays for a club city owners also own.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its a convenient time frame that ignores the figures like:
2019/20: -90m net spend
2017/18: -225m net spend
2016/17: -180m net spend
2015/16: -140m net spend
These back in the days when their revenues were 300-400m less than they are now (all euros).
These are the foundations of their empire building and also the key years that are the subject of their 115 charges.
Just because City have 'gone straight' now, doesnt wipe out their past or the impact that has had on the their fortunes and that of wider football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's a long winded rant to conclude that we are now self-sustaining after years of investment. cheers

He also has a very snowflake definition of "stomping off in a huff".
Very sad.

Spurs would have won the Champions League multiple times if it wasn’t for City’s cheating
