Forest v Wolves - Match Thread

A fantastic dominating performance at Southampton, followed by a Forest B team nearly pulling it off v Newcastle and…an end to the window which saw us strengthen at LCB and CM, move on some fringe players and crucially retain our star players.

If only we’d got one of our striker targets, but, the money is there in January.




Southampton:



The Good: MGW goal. Now that he isn’t crossing balls into the box, we should expect a few more of those.

The Bad: Abbott did great for his age, but showed he isn’t quite there yet. Miguel with the only mistake of his game.

The Ugly: Big T’s penalty. He was knackered by 70 minutes, but at least he made the 90…and will be better for it on the long run.

Special Mention(s): Miguel, Milenkovic, Moreira and Silva all performed brilliantly. The cost for that magnificent quarter…just over £20m. Our transfer business 😘



The Last Time we played Wolves (H) 2-2!! Danilo and MGW with the goals. Cunha got a brace for them.

League Form:



Wolves have had a tough start to the season. Losing 2-0 to Arsenal and 6-2 at home to Chelsea. They’ve looked good though!


Prediction:



Always a tough game v Wolves. Cunha is always capable of beating any defence.

I think we’ll at least draw, but a win is where my $100 bonus bet has gone. 2-1 to Forest.




Final Words: 



A win here could see us top 4! Seven points from the first three games would be an unbelievable start before the International break. With in-form Liverpool, Brighton and Chelsea away in three of the following four games…we need to win this one.
