Good transfer window

Outgoing business was good for sure.

I think on the incoming side there wasnt really anyone available in the Rice mould we were motivated to go all out for - Zubimendi, Isak, Guimares etc all clearly uninterested or unavailable.

Time will tell. Dont think we've really moved ourselves out of the favourites for 2nd place bracket but City didnt do much either, and are aging quicker than we are!

Only signing I don't really understand is Calafiori no doubt he looks like a good player but with Kiwior and Tomyasiu still here it really doesn't seem like an area we needed anything right now. With regards to Sterling it seems like a decent squad signing especially since its just for the season and we can look at other options next summer where availability might be better.

Personally think it's unfair to have a go at Kiwior how many games has he actually played for us at cb majority of the time he's played left back which clearly aint his position. At the start of the window was anyone saying we really need another defender the answer was no.

True we are stacked there now. I personally think Arteta has half a mind for Calafiori to replace Gabriel.

Hopefully. Need another injury-free season from our 5 key players (Saliba,Rice,Ode,Saka,Havertz) to have any chance though

We were light in the defence, they ideally want 8 defenders, we were working with 6 last season, we were lucky last season we didn't get more injuries.

Zinny, Timber and Tomi's injury records aren't the best

I would rate it as about 7.5/10.
Didn't get that exciting transfer all fans wish for, but good solid squad building signings with good outgoings too.

Pressure on Havertz as the striker, if he can maintain his output in that role we will be very close to the title.
