Just been said on twitter a short while ago that Sol Bamba has passed away aged 39. A good defender and a lovely bloke off the field, always a good bloke to listen to during interviews.
Sol won his battle with cancer and resumed playing in Turkey with Adanaspor, but the club stated that he fell ill today and has sadly died.

Really awful news. Remember his very first game for Leicester versus Man City in the FA Cup. Magnificent performance. Always a favourite at Leicester.

Apparently at Leeds under Cellino, Cellino wanted players back in for preseason training early, Bamba stood up to him for the players.
