Bolton Wanderers v Huddersfield Town

The international break is over and back to league one action. The 3rd home match and the 3rd 20000 plus crowd. Been nothing for the home fans to cheer so far. No goals and 1 point from the 2 home games so far. Todays opponents Huddersfield represent a decent test. A premier league side in 2019 and were relegated last season after 5 years in the championship and failing to bounce back. Bolton and Huddersfield haven't been in the same league since 2016 and Boltons last win over Huddersfield was 10 years ago. 1-0 at the Reebok with a Craig Davies goal. Team news. Down to our last 11 v barrow. Southwood, Forino, Toal, Sheehan and Charles are back from international duty. Also looks like Adeboyejo, Arfield and Williams are now available for selection. Leave injured. Coleman and Jones no news although Jones should be back by now as per previous estimates. Osei-Tutu is out for 6 weeks. Lolos and Mendes Gomes still long term. Possible starting 11 Baxter. Forino Santos Johnston. Dacres-cogley Sheehan Thomason Schon. Dempsey Charles McAtee. Kick off 3pm.

It looks as though Evatt is staying put and the B team manager and Evatts sidekick plus one of the development team are waiting for their taxis.

Funny how the guy who is at the head gets to stay. I had a feeling Sharon would stay faithful to Evatt. She may be right but I don't think she is hard enough for the job in hand.

Time will tell.

Last time we were in a hot mess we sacked the director of football and all was well in the end.

Could be a lack of clear instruction on the part of the coach that's gone that's led to this or anything. Time will tell.

I generally avoid the lower reaches of the BN articles as the comments are genuinely unhinged. Though sometimes it's just nice to have a brew and laugh at some of the quite insane drivel that some people come out with.

Some good news, The Women's team have signed a good prospect from our neighbours Blackburn. The team has now won six games on the trot.

Why can't we play the women's team in league one?

Come on Pasty, stop thinking and come back and post!

I don't believe you are not looking at our posts.

Evatt usually faces the press today so see what updates there are later. Also the official team photos were taken yesterday.

I haven't seen the team photo. I suppose Mr. Iles will print it soon.

Seems to be that Craddock went a few days back.

Seen the club doing the photo behind the scenes yesterday. Wouldn't be surprised to see it given an airing in the programme on Saturday. Online either just before or just after.

Got my ticket for this weekend's game.

Could be interesting.

Will probably mean the match thread will be sparse though. Don't think I'll have the mobile data available to cover doing the team sheet.

I imagine my ire or thoughts on a better performance will be available from half 5 or so.

WiFi isn't that great near the ground. Probably same as last week quick pint in fanzone call in 2.35/2.40. No q at that time and served straight away. No point getting there about 2 like everyone else.
