Thought it was a mixed bag from Zirkzee myself. He did some nice things here and there but he also had a few heavy touches in the box and also missed two big chances.

Amad for sure should start as he offers something Rashford/Garnacho doesn't. Calmness on the ball.

Look I’m not saying Zirkzee is or will be a world beater but he was a part of some very good attacking play.

Do you still stand by the Antony to come on over Garnacho comment btw? Garnacho forced a red card and also scored the third. 😉

He was ok with plenty of good moments.

Garnacho proved to be the right sub. At 2-0 up though I’d still rather 1 of Amad or Antony on the field rather than both Garnacho & Rashford. The former 2 are more likely to retain possession.

They will finish 19th or 20th so it's hard to judge.

I'm not convinced he's Utd standard personally. He holds up the ball better than Hojlund does but that's about it.

Amad looks good. Zirkzee has looked average so far. I think he needs to up his game and start scoring to displace Rasmus. Not writing Zirkzee off by the way, just saying he needs to make the most of his opportunities whilst Rasmus is out.

Agree to disagree. Looking at the games he’s played for us (not just today), I’d say he’s been average at best. He was average, or above average for me today. I stand by my first comment.

Rashford also linked well with both Zirkzee and Amad today.

There’s some potential in that combination.

Zirkzee is neat and tidy and gets into good scoring positions. Hojlund is a better finisher IMO and is quicker. Shame we couldn't combine the two like a Brundlefly!

Amad is very tidy. Certainly don't want to see him dropped for a big game again.

Zirkzee plays some really intelligent balls, and is great at brining others in. He was linking eell with Rashford and amad, as others have said. I'd love to see how he links with Hojlund. We'll probably never see that combo as a starting lineup, but defo if we are chasing a goal in the last 20 minutes at times.

He doesn't need to replace Hojlund. Hojlund should be playing ahead of him. He needs to replace Bruno.

I wonder what our players do at finishing practice? I guess who can miss the easiest chance competition. We have created 13 big chances and missed 12 of them this season.😂 That doesn’t take into the account the sitters we missed in the community shield.
