A good while ago I talked of the feeling I had for years , from being a youth to man. I described it as fizzing for want of a better word, will I get a good job, will I get married, have a car a house , my future in fact.
Well I'm fizzing now, not my future of course , but United's. Not only do we have young talented players in the first team. We have a queue behind them, and now we are signing young. talented players.
ETH seems happy to let them have minutes. Collyer being the latest.
I'm an optimist by nature, but I think the future looks great, because as well as the youth we are making good signings.
I foresee a good season, a better one next year, and after a run of domination. I quite appreciate that this will get laughed at.bit it's how I feel.
COME ON YOU REDS.
Fizzing

I’m cautiously positive about the club right now but I really can’t see a run of domination for us ever again.

I think we will improve, then someone else (or someone after that etc) will come in and we will be successful league wise. Football goes in cycles, once Pep goes, City will have a dip. Our time will come again

I could quite easily live without being married or living with my wife...but I would be stuffed without a car

The club (and perhaps yourself) needs to look way beyond "young" and also question the relative nature of "talented" before any "fizz" is justified.
The club is no nearer the level of ambition and success needed now than they have been in the past ten years. That's the single most telling consistency post-SAF
A minimum requirement of players that are competent, (EPL) experienced, appropriately skilled for the position they are designed for and in possession of genuine footballing intelligence etc., are what United thrive on - and currently need.
Presently only a few of the current squad fit all or any of that criterion.

More than fizzing, we are simmering.

Football is more alka-selzer than helter-skelter then?
