Good to win of course but far from convincing.

It’s infuriating watching us away at Championship clubs, absolutely infuriating. We are masters of making life hard for ourselves.

I really don’t rate Ange - Coventry had us sussed and then schitt the bed at the end. But if he beats Brentford, we will almost certainly beat Qarabag and that will buy him more time - he is a lucky man though.

Bergvall and Davies were superb. Gray looked okay and Johnson to be fair didn’t get any service until the end.

Werner is horrible and Forster should never be starting for us, absolutely no chance he is better than our youth keepers - he can’t catch, he can’t play out from the back and his decision making is horrible.

Personally I thought Davies was decent lastnight. One of our performers (not saying alot I know) but he saved us a few times including that last ditch block to save a goal.

He's underrated for us and definitely deserves a place in the squad

Personally never rated him mate. And that is part of the reason Spurs never win anything, when they set the bar so low with players like Davies, who do one decent tackle, and that apparently equates to a decent performance. For most of the match the Coventry forwards had Davies on toast for pace and pretty much everything else.

Agreed, plus the difference in the handling of the Biss and Bentancur situations.

Biss was an idiot and deserved criticism, but he was absolutely vilified. Meanwhile Bentancur was derogatory towards the captain of our club and Ange says nothing.

Spence we know has been a problem in the past, but seems like he matured in Italy and everything we have seen and heard suggests that he has knuckled down - they decide to keep him but then he doesn’t get named in the Europa squad and doesn’t start in the League cup when we make 8 changes - baffling. Of course he saves the blokes job, but we won’t see him again now until the next round of the league cup.

Davies was superb last night, I really don’t get the hate he gets. Been a tireless servant and is incredibly reliable. Yes there are better players out there, but Ben Davies is a man and player Spurs are lucky to have

That’s bollox Sandy - I was flicking through the Sky Blues forum last night and they had Davies and Bergvall as our 2 best players. Lots saying that Van Ewijk is a top player for them but Davies covering our left back shut him down last night

OK strike if you think the way forward is with Davies, then your call. I couldn`t care less if the Coventry supporters thought he was our best player, and just for the record he wasn`t. Udogie 1st half, and Kulu when he came on were Spurs best players.

Never going to progress if Davies is the best you have as a back up. He wasn`t very good when he signed nearly a decade ago, he certainly isn`t any good now long term.

Davies saving a certain goal and shutting Covs best player down all night and you reckon he was a 3/10. Insane.

Bens not good enough as back up but we’ve been to a CL final with him and in title races - and he has never cost us in either. Multiple Spurs managers have picked him time and again. His performance away to Forest last year was nothing short of exemplary.

Great man, great pro and we’re lucky to have him willing to be a back up for us
