At first it must have seemed the bright lights of London and the CFC money was the right choice, just as Zubimendi thought staying loyal was an admirable choice(it frequently isnt btw).
As the dust settled on all three failed transfers, it's obvious that their choice was the wrong choice; looking on seeing liverpool play away in the CL to Milan knowing you could have been a part of that "probably" cuts deep Instead you look on listen to the CL music hear the pitch side excitement and lament, oh yeah...I play for CFC who are not in the CL and unlikely to challenge for any top trophy, but hey...i am in the sht hole called London!!!

As for zubimendi he is now fighting relegation with his club, again looking on at Liverpool knowing he could have been a part of that CL win, indeed its NOW rumoured he regrets he decision to stay and apparantely wants the move back on in January.....we wait and see
As for liverpool who the rivals wet themselves over the failed transfers, well ..5 games played, 4 wins 1 defeat only 2 goals conceded. It seems, its liverpool who are the winners here after all!!
