Obviously, a massive game given recent result and would love a Spurs win
Anyone heard anything re injuries to Biss, Odobert, Werner ? Not sure if either VDV were carrying knocks and rested mid week ?
I've given up saying we have the better players Vs certain teams coz it doesn't mean shlt and Brentford are no mugs
This game has banana skin written all over it, I expect them to sit deep, play on the break and grab a coal from a set piece.... Not ideal given our weaknesses.
I have zero confidence in Spurs or Ange right now.. I don't think they've done enough to justify any.
I think our desperation for a result will mean we don't get beat but I fear we are not good enough to win.
No idea what team he'll pick but I don't see Gray or Bergvall getting a start. Hopefully Solanke can get off the mark
2-2
Thoughts On Tomorrow

Tbf if he did change the formation, I'd prefer a good old fashioned 4 4 2.

Luka thinks we should keep playing this facking predictable, slow and turgid football with players’ strengths being wasted across the park.
Even Johnson, as limited as he is, could be better utilised.
Keep doing what we’ve been doing because it’s clearly working.
State of it

Oh yeah, I forget how fast paced the 3 5 2 system is. That's why loads of teams are currently adopting the system. 😂
Under Conte I couldn't keep up with the pace of game and really enjoyed the low block and our amazing attacking output with 3 CB's. You're right as always red.

Tbf your squad looks better suited to 352.

First game of the season for me. I think Spurs will win if they get their act together. Defence picks itself, and if Bissouma is fit he starts alongside Maddison. I then wouldn't mind Gray starting alongside those two. Bentancur has been well of the pace since his injury, and other than the pass for the winning goal midweek has contributed nothing all season. Sarr probably needs arrest, still got plenty to offer, but not at his best. Son, Kulu, Johnson and Solanke the other starters.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can't believe you're writing us in for a win after all the moaning you've been doing on the past two games!
Ange is still managing this game, you know!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sandy back and predicting positive results for Spurs. We should definitely be fearing the worst now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I personally would prefer Ange gone, but as he isn't prob6goong anywhere just yet, probably best to get behind the team. Pointless me going to WHL tomorrow if I am expecting a loss.
Let's be fair if you ain't beating the likes of Brentford at home, then you ain't winning many games.
3-0 Spurs, with a rare clean sheet.

But pretty much every team we have played so far have sat back. Woolwich included.
How does adding another CB help us score goals?

It would help give cover to the full backs and get them in more dangerous wide areas. And you could move Son more centrally, where he looks to be most dangerous rather than too far wide.
Obviously Ange won’t do it, but if you had a more flexible manager it would suit your squad better overall I reckon.

Think double pivot is probably the way
Midfield covering attacking full backs
Maddison further up the pitch behind Solanke
Kulu creativity coming in from the right. Son hopefully finding more space in behind

How we are going at the moment offers no protection to the CBs and relies on one vs one wingers which we don’t have a single one in the squad, jury still out on odobert and he’s injured now anyway

"never"'?
I guess you didn't see Vicario flapping at the ball 3 times outside his penalty area?
Going blind in old age, are you .Sandy?
