Tanaka

For God's sake start him.

Stop with the fcking handbrake midfield.

Hasn't had a lot of minutes and seen nothing yet to suggest he starts as he like all our other midfielders seems only to pass backwards as well. Is it the players or farkes tactics. Time will tell

He's a German Southgate Batts but then again I'm not so sure he's as good as Southgate.

Probably today's opponent are the weakest side in the Championship and only going by what I've read on here Leeds made such heavy weather of clinching the win that it just adds more weight to what I think lot of us on here now see as the manager being a major obstacle to this talented crop of players getting promoted.

Farke's handbrake midfield and his late and often wrong
use of subs which okay Piroe came on and scored today
but generally his subs make no difference are just two
areas of concern that add to a similar story week in
week out of missed chances and high possession the
bulk of which is from s slow tippy tappy style of play
across the back line that is just so frustrating to watch.

Farke's a nice bloke, a safe eddy and will never be without a football managers job for long but I think a Corberan or probably 5 or 6 other tactiically superior and more pro active minded managers to Farke in the Champiinship would relish having the chance to coach these Leeds players and get the side automatically promoted.

We will see in these next 3 games if Farke decides to
actually be more adventurous with his selections and
drop Gruev for a more forward thinking player that AO
appears to be and then that might give the side a new
lease of life in terms of balance and tempo that saves Farke's bacon and makes me and others eat their words at daring to suggest after an away victory and 4 clean sheets out of 6 that everything in the garden isn't smelling of roses.

If however as I suspect will be the case the same starting 11 today take to the field against much better opposition in our next 3 games then I'm not confident Leeds will be able to get enough points to at lesst be still in the top 6 but only time will tell.

Spot on, Macca. Our next four games will tell us a lot about how this season is going to pan out. We certainly have the highest quality of footballers in this division and Farke is wrong to make excuses when the results go against us. We know what to expect from opponents in this division and they know what to expect from us. There are going to be very few memorable games, and plenty where we have to break down a low block. Sunderland and Sheffield United will go all out to disrupt our rhythm and it's up to us to find a way past them. They carry a much greater threat than Cardiff.
If we continue to play in this predictable, ploddy way, we will see the same game all season, with teams defending deep and hitting us on the break.
More worryingly for me, Farke is showing the same weaknesses we saw last season, particularly in not using subs effectively, and not having a plan 'B' . It is so frustrating when we have the talent at our disposal, but we fail to deploy it in a meaningful way.
Yesterday, we saw Rodon playing a full ninety minutes, even though he looked visibly uncomfortable for most of the second half, and we saw a defensive double pivot in midfield when we could easily have brought on Rothwell and Tanaka much earlier.
As daft as it sounds, I feel more concerned than reassured by this three points.

Yep a bit ‘chicken and egg’ for me … he’s not had enough time to show us what he can do and until he gets that time, we’ll never know.

Came on for the final eight minutes of stoppage time when he seemed to have practically every other touch as we played keep ball which to me looked like the game plan.
Was you looking at a different player to me?

6 games played in 6th place, 5pts behind 1st, I cant work out what the problem is!..

When Farke decides to give him a proper go, hopefully people will stand behind him and not do the usual bring down of players they seem to like doing around here!..
