Gutted Judd lost. Looks like Si played very well. I'm pretty neutral in the final as I like both players.

Xiao Gudong wins the final 10-7. I'm pleased for him. He's a decent player but I never really felt he would win a tournament. He's beaten Kyren, Hawkins, Murphy and an in form Si Jiahui to clinch this title. It's not quite enough to take him in the top 16 but he's closing in and could get there in the next tournament or two!

I think these days anyone can have a good run and win a tourney. I can see him making top 16, but I would be shocked if he started being a serial winner etc, but like you say, I'm pleased for him and it's a moment he will have in his career no matter what.
