Fair. A good honest sport like Boxing shouldnt be dragged down to this level.

It's about time football cleaned up its act. I say about time, but I doubt anyone is keeping track of the time. Someone maybe guessing.

There is an official time guesser though that suggests when a game might start or finish. The ref doesn't have to listen to them but it's a sort of guide.

Surprised we have never seen the official time keeper run onto the pitch to tell the ref how much time to add on.

yes there is , the ref doesnt tell his assistant what number to put up on the board for injury time. he uses that as a guide.

Refs allow a certain amount of time for natural stoppages like a restart from GK. I read somewhere that the guidance is 30 secs if the player takers longer, then the additional time is what contributes to stoppage time...not the whole time that it takes to restart.

All games have these natural breaks which aren't added on and hence why the ball ain't in play the whole time, or allowed for in stoppage time. It's if more time is taken by teams to restart, time taken for subs and injures and celebrations and VAR. That's what makes up stoppage time.

So you can have the ball going out of play a lot, lots of restarts and so the ball in play small amounts but no stoppage time, and vice versa. Ball barely out of play and no stoppage time.

But if there is time wasting subs var reviews celebrations the you could have 75% ball in play and still loads of time to add on as stoppages.

Finished in the 100th minute didn’t it? If it was 7 minutes, then two mins added on for Timber and then 1 minute for the goal celebration, what’s the issue?

Why is this suddenly so strict? That's not how it works and we all know that. If we're being this strict then refs should add an extra half of football every game.

City fans coming out with the ridiculous to defend their clubs cheating while genius Spurs fans just oppose everything Arsenal fans say. Nobody moans about officiating, pundits, the FA etc more than Spurs fans anyway.
