Varane

He’s announced his retirement from football today, after terminating his contract with Como yesterday. Looks like injuries have completely broken the guy and he’s had to call it a day.

Really sad especially because he’s only 31 and could be easily gone for another 3/4 years. Was a privilege to see him play for us and what better way to sign off your career than with lifting a trophy at Wembley.

This is nice from the club too:

Should have retired sooner but what a player, what a career.

That retirement package you guys gave him must've been really lucrative.

Shoutout to Utd for providing charity to players in need, these past few years

I mean players like Greenwood and Anthony need rehabilitation...no other club is providing these services to players.

You guys cured Sancho's mental illness and pardoned him to have a better life. Nobody putting in charity work like you guys.

Rashford really set the tone

Just out of interest, is Pogba still alive?

Hi VC.

You aren't by any chance sponsoring a club in Ghana's second division, are you?

I think UTD just mentally exhausted from caring for Phil Jones… took a lot out of them. A HELL of a lot!..

I always felt far more confident with Varane in the team.

Yeah he seemed to have a calm about him and could read the game fairly well.

He retired 2/3 years back and got himself a nice pension at Old Trafford
