So we’ve played carrier bag twice before.
Without googling it, who can tell me what the scores were?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We won the away game 1-0, Harry Kane header - I remember watching it, it was a bit like we have been under Ange this season, loads of great chances that we kept fluffing. I think we hit the woodwork 3 times and missed some absolute sitters before Harry finally notched late on.
The home game - I think I went to it, we def won, it was either 2-1 or 3-1, I remember they had a penalty

Ange’s record in Europe is not great. 6 CL games = 2 draws 4 losses. 6 Europa games = 3 wins and 3 losses. 2 group stage exits.
I don’t want him giving it billy big bollox and resting loads tonight, UTD drew with their first team out. We need to go strong, get comfortable and then start with drawing players. Do that and I think 3-0
Start weak and I can see a frustrating night ahead, maybe 1-1 or a very fortunate 1-0

Gotta at least win your home games!

Yeah, I like it as well. Much better now there are no CL dropdowns and this new big league format is interesting as well.
Let’s not forget, this is the competition that saw Harry Kane score a hat trick and end up in goal, with Lamela also scoring a Rabona all in the same game.
We’ve played teams from all over - even Tromso in the arctic circle. Rubin Kazan, Qarabag, Anzhi, Sherriff Tiraspol.
It’s good fun

Plus it’s more games, and we get to see different teams/players and evening games always have a better atmosphere I think!

Looks like some of the “kids” will feature tonight.
Lankshear & Moore trained with the first team.

No clue about today, no idea if they are any good. I suspect both teams will score and it wont be a draw.
3-2 Spurs

Leverkusen struggled to beat them last season needing a couple of late goals to win the game.
Not too many changes please Ange and hopefully get Moore and Lanks on at some point.

Evening all. The weathers bad, just come back from working in Swindon and it was like a monsoon driving back.
Anyway missed being in Europe last season. So good to be back and love these evening games in the week.
