Anyone Still Pretending Poch Wasn’t Sh*t

Needs their head looked at.

Did you lot actually watch the matches? Because yeah you can point to results but most of them were blatantly scammed or came purely from player quality.

The guy was a disgrace tactically week after week after week, he’s a dinosaur and hasn’t evolved since about 2018. Go back and look at the end of his time at Spurs or his spell at PSG, their fans were saying the exact same things I’ve been saying.

Pochettino Crimes Against Football
• He nearly lost to Ten Egg’s utter trash United side TWICE but for Cole Palmer saving his a’rse (imagine getting done tactically by that incompetent bald bas’tard not once but twice).

• He lost 5-0 to Arsenal in the period of the season where we were supposedly getting better.

• He brought on defensive subs to sit back and defend a lead against Sheffield fking United, the literal worst team in the league. We of course drew in the last minute.

• He had us hanging on for dear life against Luton having been 3-0 up.

• He lost a cup final against an U12 Liverpool side because he was too cowardly to actually go for the win.

• He left Caicedo in midfield by himself every single week leading to people piling on Caicedo (who performed admirably given the circumstances, don’t care what anyone says) rather than look at the actual problem.

• He pushed two elite LB prospects from our academy out of the club in order to use one of the best CB prospects in the world at LB all season (and not even a LB moving into LCB in a 3, a straight up LB bombing up and down the wing ).

• The only academy prospect he had any interest in using was Alfie Gilchrist who no disrespect to him is way down the list of talents in our academy, even in his own position.

• He built his team around Conor Gallagher who is simply a bang average footballer. No surprise then that he was looked at favourably in a team built to do nothing other sprint around the pitch given that’s basically his top attribute. Notice he’s now at Atletico under Simeone and not at a team like City or Barca.

• His cavemen training methods saw us average about 10 injuries per game for literally the entire season which funnily enough now that he’s gone isn’t happening at anywhere near the same rate.

• He could barely explain his tactical setup when given a chance to and even had a know nothing tart like Karen Carney almost shaking her head in disbelief.

• Couldn’t answer any tactical questions in press conferences, instead relentlessly banging on about peshon and energy and ronning and hkheart.

• He played Ben Chilwell, who is beyond washed, on the left wing. I mean holy fk that alone is a sackable offence.

etc, etc, etc. I could actually go on for hours ffs. Guy deserves decades in jail.

Lo and behold in the THIRTY FKING THIRD league game he actually tried something different and we looked better and got some results when teams were on the beach. We still looked shaky as hell though because again, Poch is inept and washed and was basically winging it. Thiago Silva was doing his coaching badges and probably gave him a few tips.

And for all this talk of the “decent" “admirable" job he did at Chelsea given “the circumstances" (“boohoo my squad’s packed with talent what am I supposed to do ") you’ll notice not a single top club went anywhere near the fat lemon sha’gging c’nt in the summer. FFS INEOS chose to keep Ten Slag over him and now he’s out in the USA coaching the USMNNTNTNT.

Absolutely over the moon he’s gone from my club and I always will be. Genuinely hate his fking guts.

By being lucky in the semi

We were 3-0 down on Agg at one stage.

He inspired his team to come back and reach the final.

Were Liverpool lucky to come back and beat Barca the night before ?.

And Chelsea in Munich.

there's a reason he's now the USA coach despite all the great jobs that were available in the summer

None of you were thinking objectively the day after that 4-1 defeat to us last season. Not a single poster on your board.

I tried to warn you a manager who does that, plays that aggressively with 9 men, is naïve af (despite the players performances being courageous) but none of you wanted to hear it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If Spurs 9 men had retreated, do you think Chelsea would have still won the game.

It's not naivety. Of course the manager will understand its high risk.

Do you expect any team to get anything out of a game with 9 men for a half. Would it be naïve to think you could?
--------------------------------------------------------
Probably not but there'd of been a chance, you only had to hold out for about half an hour. Doing what you did reduced that chance to next to zero, we couldn't hit a barn door at the time & stuck three past you, should tell you how tactically stupid it was.

The naivety isn't him not understanding the risk, it's him doing it anyway & thinking that's fine. In that exact instance he was fine, as Darren said you were all happy being battered for some reason, fast forward to now & that mindset is meeting a less forgiving reception.

It wasn’t naive, it was absolutely stupid.
