After the giddy heights of the Emirates on Wednesday night it's a trip to Crawley's Broadfield Stadium for an 18th v 19th league one match. Promoted last season Crawley have 7 points the same as Bolton and are separated by just one goal. Only the 4th fixture between the clubs, the last the memorable 4-1 win for Bolton in 2021 which clinched promotion back to league one. Team news. Forino is out for the foreseeable after doing his hamstring at arsenal joining cmg, Lolos, Jones, Forrester, Osei-Tutu on the injured list, Matheson isn't available for the league games so he misses out too. Down to the last 17 players, 6 changes are expected and young centre back Sam Inwood is expected to make up the 18 on the bench. Possible starting 11. Baxter. Toal Santos Johnston. Dacres-cogley Matete Sheehan Thomason Schon. Adeboyejo Charles. Early start 12.30pm and live on sky sports plus.

Full time.
For all Crawley's possession they really didn't trouble Baxter with anything substantial in shots. A bit like watching ourselves during some of the more frustrating performances.
2 in a row now. Onwards and upwards.

Let them have the ball today but they didn't threaten with it. Looked more threatening with McAtee and Collins than Charles and Adeboyejo. Link with midfield better.

Good result, nice goals but overall play not where I think we should be. That said Ian gets the blame when we lose so today he gets the credit for the win. I just hope it's the start of a better run rather than a false dawn.

Sorry about missing the game. I didn't know the game was an early kick-off until my neighbour came over to see if I was going to their place to watch the game. Unfortunately, it was at almost noon by the time we got into the car to drive to Bolton.
The worst part was I couldn't access their internet and my grandsons were out with their friends. It was a disaster from start to finish.

Some good injury news Klaidi Lolos looks to be available for selection for the up coming game against Northampton after being missing since the first game.
