Player.
Too right, Jimmy! This was evident last season, knows a thing or two about strikers.

Nicolas Jackson is the real deal, got all the tools. A snip, lucky to have him.
I'm of the train of thought that both Nkunku & Jackson should be starting, they can co-exist in the same starting line-up.
Sooner Maresca figures out a way to fit all of Jackson, Nkunku, Palmer, Sancho into the side, the better. Especially in the not to distant longer term.
This may come when he feels there's enough defensive stability behind them, in the back 3/4 and midfield and not a sieve in the middle, like this -

https://tinyurl.com/2xwehacz , catalouge of errors that cant be allowed to run. More than enough time to work it out.
When everyone is in tiptop shape and up to speed, could turnout to be something like this -
Sanchez
James Fofin Colwill Gusto
Lavzo Caicedo
Palmer Nkunku Sancho
Jackson
Doesn't necessarily have to be in that fixed formation, but a fluid system which strikes a balance for most to flourish.
We require understanding and combinations allover the pitch, there's been one glaring partnership in Jackson & Palmer. Striking the right notes.
Without the former, I'm convinced the latter doesn't thrive as much as he has in the last 13 months. The former a scapegoat for fatuous feckless narratives created and peddled by dense-minds, learn to appreciate a first-rate decision-maker and nuisance of a focal point up top, coupled with bulletproof fitness.
Not that big a reach that Jackson hits 20+ league goals (after scoring 14 last season), in the unlikely event that he doesn't score 20 he's a product of chance creation (directly & indirectly) with all the work he does, it's more on the other to step up and share the workload when presented with guilt edged chances.
Loons don't know what we've got, until it's gone and this was particularly pertinent when Jackson was away on African cup of nations duties last season, a good case study on how Palmer would fare without him and unsurprisingly Palmer struggled to impose will and might in Jackson' absence.

Dynamic changing duo, developing into all-timers. Key differentiators, along with Nkunku.
Palmer 22, Jackson 23, Nkunku 26, a terrifying prospect once they click as a unit.
(Nico struck one in the short time with Cristo, before he got injured).
NJ fulfils potential, he will be a £150m..

Solid connections are the foundation for a strong campaign this season and beyond.

It's no Havertz & Abraham though.
That was magical. Telepathic some might say

The Palmer/Jackson connection is becoming a thing. Both always looking for each others runs. Sancho also a very good team player. Shame about Madueke.

I think Madueke has been largely fine to be fair, started the season well. Good work ethic about him out of possession, which Maresca likes.

Tuchel deprived us of this. Doesn't deserve anything good.

Way too selfish in front of goal. Always looks to shoot from impossible angles. Always looking for personal glory instead of playing for the team. He's another player that has it all in his locker. Just needs to improve on his decision making.
Now that we've signed Neto there's a good chance he leaves next summer to make way for Estevao Willian.
