Fair play to Ange for putting kulu into a central position especially away from home. The switch has really helped open up packed defences, him and mads on the same wavelength, runs his socks off.
Well played kulu and good call Ange

Quality footballer. Was getting a bit predictable when on the right, but been great in his new role.
Bentancur, Madders and Kulu has a lovely balance.

Weirdly, I agree, but it shouldn't work. No logic says that this midfield 3 are strong and stable enough for long term success in the Premier League.

Deki has always carried the ball well, worked very hard, strong in possession and committed and these attributes describe an excellent central midfielder...but like most, i never really thought that he could or would play CM with such quality. I'm almost becoming worried about what we do if he gets injured, he has become so important in that role. He's been great all season, looks inspired !

Football is played by eleven men in a team, and every player contributes. Sometimes other players make a team mate look good, that's teamwork.
Outstanding today:
Romero, terrific defensive plays and all round generalship.
Micky VDV,.that run says it all.
Kulushevski... attack, attack, attack
Brennan Johnson.... 4 in 4.. and could have had a second.
Porro..... effort, industry, work rate!
Players not so hot:
Timo Werner.... fast going forward but finishes like a Chipmunk! Messed up 4 golden chances to score.
Solenke.....yes he did toe poke one in, but missed another. I'm not yet convinced.
DId we miss Son? Well we should have won 6-0, so maybe.

He's got a great footballing brain and maybe his lack of pace doesn't quite show up as much in there.

Well yeah you want as many players firing on cylinders the same time as possible, but life isn’t like that, but as you say it’s a team game so you have different players stepping up at different times.

Never lost faith in Deki, hopefully he stays playing in his correct position from now on.
Always plays well for his country too.

I thought Solanke was superb and what he adds to the team in terms of the press and the hard work....all that after playing most of the week game. It was a brilliant effort from him and he's starting to settle nicely. Looks to have a decent partnership with BJ brewing. I think BJ will really flourish with BigDom holding it up, hustling opposition defence, hunting the ball down.

Yes people are hating on him a bit and I’m not sure why, seems to me he’s doing exactly what he’s supposed to doing, poaching goals!
3 in 3 now.

While he isnt a winger I think he suffered a lot last season because he was over played. He always puts a shift in on that wing and started most games and hardly got subbed. I think he will have to be managed properly and given rest even in this new role especially with the additional games this season.
