and many on this site wanted Ange gone.
As another 4 games have been played just interested if you still want him gone?
Are we waiting for our next defeat to bring up the form of the second half of last season, Ange has no plan B, we are defensively weak etc. etc.

He isn’t going anyway because frankly who the f*ck do we replace him with?
Plus not a fan of sacking in the middle of a season, unless we really hit relegation form.

@Sandy, weren't you one of the ones leading the charge, calling for Ange's head in the League Cup saying something like "It's not even worth waiting until full time."
Do you still want Ange sacked, then?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If he turns it round no. But if we get performances like against Coventry, then yes.
He needs to have a plan B. Cannot fault the performances and results since the Coventry game though, so fair play to him if he can turn it round.
To early to say he will right now though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The point is you don't even seem to agree with yourself.
Look at your own comments on this same thread:
You: "I wasn't happy with him after taking just one point from Leicester, Newcastle and Arsenal"
Also You: "Games against Leicester and Newcastle were not bad. Spurs played well and should have won both. The Arsenal game could have gone [either] way."
You again: "Ok Coventry was a late comeback, but he put out a reserve side, so was never going to be easy."
(Me) Do you still want Ange sacked, then?
You: "If we get performances like against Coventry, then yes."
Are there two separate users in your house with access to the same account?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure you get the idea of opinions. You can be unhappy with a result. But be happy with a performance. The two can quite easily sit together. Not that hard to understand is it? Maybe you are a bit simple.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I might be simple, but the contradiction in your statements is extremely clear.
You literally said you were unhappy with **him** -i.e. Ange- despite your opinion being that you actually played well and deserved better results.

We beat the teams we teams we were expected, lost to the teams we were expected to and threw away 3 points vs a newly promoted side.
Its been a good week and Ange and the team deserve credit for that but lets not get carried away.
Lets win tomorrow night and get a good result at Brighton.
Hopefully this team continues to gel and evolve. Ange aint going anywhere.... Proof of whether he's the right guy is if we can get better results against better teams
Time will tell
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My point is "getting carried away" was exactly what folk were doing after a meh start to the season (4 games, 2 of which being 2 of the toughest fixtures all season).
BTW, we threw away 2 points vs Leicester, although i know it felt like a loss
Proof of whether he's the right guy will come in May. We have had plenty of seasons losing at Liverpool Chelsea OT and Arsenal and ending above all of them.
We've probably beaten City more than anyone over the last few years, but have been nowhere near them come May. The big games tell you somethings but far from everything. It's just another game mate. The bread and butter matters more at this stage in our development.
If you predicted the first 6 games we'd have maybe expected WWDDWD and that would have been pretty strong. So we're only a couple points behind the ball given the fixtures
BIG Picture!

Apols... I meant 2 Points..... Yeah I agree, Im fine with where we are at.... Will be interesting to see if we can kick on from these recent good results.
I hope we can win something, would be delighted with a Europa, League or FA Cup but as we all know City, Arsenal, Liverpool etc want them too.
I just hope we don't become a team of "principles" and that everything is being done in the name of some never ending long term project.
If we make a final, score some flukey early goal and have to defend for our lives for 85mins with no possession to win the game.... so be it
I would just love something substantial to go with all the "style"

I know what you mean. We have had years of disappointment with some highs thrown in, and while i can draw a line under the Jose/Nuno/Conte years and allow time for the Ange era to play out, it really does have to deliver some tangible success.
Not sure we will ever hang on for 85 minutes because it is not something that we train for and IMO would be doomed to fail. Go down swinging.
Although if we were in that situation, i think there would naturally be some caution from the players. But if you watch the NLD, you can see 2 things. We controlled the game through possession. But in possession we were cautious, so were largely kept at arms length. I think i'd feel even more uncomfortable us trying to park the bus than I would us going for a 2nd or 3rd.
Shame we have City in the EFL next, but i supposed we'd probably have to beat them to win it anyway.

I am not a fan of Big Ange at all. I think there is far more negatives to him than positives. However...
I have been very impressed with the united and Qarabag games.
Brentford is the anomaly as if there is a team in the league that plays to our hands tactically it is Brentford and we was at home. They did the same when they lost 3-2 to us.
I want to see us beat some big teams with big performances.

This discussion is premature.
We sit 8th in the league and it could go either way.....
Bad games against Leicester, Newcastle, Arsenal and Coventry (got away with a very lucky last minute win).
It could go either way....
Oh yes, and Bruno Fernandes red card has been overturned....so not clear what might have happened in that game!
Lets wait till Xmas!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Games against Leicester and Newcastle were not bad. Spurs played well and should have won both. The Arsenal game could have gone anyway.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"PLAYED WELL AND SHOULD HAVE WON BOTH"
is THAT what you call "playing well"?
could have, should have, ...didn't?

Spurs can def beat any team on their day. Not many teams u can say that about. They can even afford an injury or two and still compete, on their day.
Cup win is definitely possible but the league….no chance. Is Ange ball way better than what’s been served up in recent years? 100%.
Could a different manager get more out them players? Maybe. Is that type of manager available? No.
Is Ange really that stubborn that he can’t have a plan B or C? I’m not sure.
The games Spurs lost early in the season, would you really be happy if u got a 1 nil but it was some George Graham days, boring, dire football? Not sure Ange has got that in him.
