I had Gordon for first goal and he missed his pen

I had Gordon to assist or score so was equally facked off

Other than that thought he was excellent ….wish we had signed him

JoeLinton is another one who everytime I watch he gets better

Joelinton always reminds me of dembele. Both started as attacking wide players/fowards. Then moved to midfield and both became so much better players.

In dembeles case he became a monster. We miss him immensely and could do with him now. He would be perfect for Anges system.

Good comparison ….thought the same watching him last night and the Everton players bouncing off him

I said same other day ref dembele …..my favourite player of the last decade for sure ….loved watching him and the most press resistant player I’ve seen

That team he played in is right up there as one my favourite. The pleat team of 87 is my all time favourite team closely followed by trerry venables 90s team.

Yeah I get that a successful period for us and sone great players.But I just loved the football we played under Pleat in particular.

Keith B is my fav ever Spurs manager and I was at Wembley for both F A cup finals when we lifted the cup.

Pleaty's side played such good football in the 87 season and even tho we lost the F A cup final that season we were a joy to watch.
