According to my friend, who is a ManUtd fan says advanced talks are beeing considered between Poch and United.
Glazers is said to be great admirers and will convince Sir Jim & co to make the switch.
It is said that Pochettino have improved his English a far bit since leaving Chelsea, getting an A+ on his last exam.
From joke - to serious.
The Tuchel rumors are starting to swirl again, naturally as the results have been deplorable lately - Tuchel has proven to be a short-term solution in most clubs he has been to, but also "usually" has an immediate impact in the clubs he takes over. The latter is needed no matter how you twist and turn it.

The one good thing Ole did was bond with players and for the most part - until the end - they wanted to run through brick walls for him.
So we need a mix of that kind of man manager but with some kind of tactical genius. As much as I want Tuchel I’m not 100% sure he’s the man manager type but certainly he’s a tactical genius.
Not sure who the ideal available manager would be that has the best of both.

I don't care if we have no manager at this point as long as Eth is sacked.
We'd likely be more interesting to watch with the cleaner and tea lady picking the team and tactics than baldy.
We need a manager who can come in and just be like
"You're benched you kuuunt, and you, and you, and you, and you, and you, you're all benched for the foreseeable until you start pulling your weight. If you don't like it, here's my massive nut sack for you to suck on, k uuunnts"
Sick of the sight of seeing the same c0 ooocks play week in week out while doing absolutely fack all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would expect a clean slate for everyone with a new manager, and would expect to see these players perform better so hopefully that would be less of an issue under a new manager
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's the attitude that has got us into the position.
Every player has had a clean slate about 8 times now and they just stop performing if they don't like something.
They need to be fecking dropped. No more "oh let me cuddle you poor lad , might make you put in some more effort" it should be someone coming in saying what's fking what. Useless cants
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair to ETH, I think he has been pretty strict with the players. But I also feel that he has failed to form any kind of relationship with most of them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And how do you know this??

Well the manager needs to assess who is doing what first, and then if anyone isn't up to scratch, deal with it accordingly..............otherwise you could argue that everyone deserves to be dropped.
ETH's problem is he's not willing to make these big decisions (such as dropping Bruno for a while). Any manager worth his salt will make the big decision, but any decent manager will also make his own assessments after he arrives and takes stock
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its a bit odd really when you consider that he didn't have a problem dropping Ronaldo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Honestly, I felt that was a simple one to do, because Ronaldo was past his best and couldn't press the way he wanted to do, and it was not realistic to play him every game.
But he seems to be doing this squad rotation like he's drawing balls out of a hat. He should pretty much have his strongest team in his head, and I would say 6 or 7 players who are pretty much starting every game. The rest will come in and get rotated accordingly.
However, if a player is in bad form, he needs dropping and replaced accordingly etc. But there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when Rashford / Amad / Garnacho starts, Eriksen seems to be a regular starter now. Bruno seems to be undroppable. We may have kept a clean sheet yesterday but who does he think is his first choice CB pairing?
So early in the season, I'm not sure squad rotation is as necessary as it is later on in the season.
A lot of his subs don't seem to make sense either. I think the players find him very difficult to relate to.

Very few managers have all the skills - look at SAF, initially ruled 'with fear', but had all the players respect and they knew were they stood with him. Sure, he mellowed over time, but that strictness was always there, but he knew how to communicate with players, but he would never have been considered a 'friendly' manager.
I think Tuchel may be somewhat like that, and would naturally have the players respect without necessarily being liked by him, but I think he knows how to communicate.
I think that is maybe what ETH is going for also, but his communications skills aren't that great and the squad just don't believe in him.

Those who can’t communicate either praise or insult. That’s been the case with ETH: he praises Bruno and Rashford by starting them every week no matter how poor they play and insults players like Ronaldo, Sancho, Varane and Casimero. He simply can’t raise above personal rancor and resentment. And that is unacceptable.

Have you witnessed eth on the training ground or the dressing room interacting with players??....or are your impressions formed by what you see and read in the media??

You’d think if Tuchel comes in he’s gonna want a striker in Jan. Maybe we can rescue Toney
