Some reports that he'll be out for up to 2 months with cardiac issues. Unconfirmed as of yet, but it wouldn't be a surprise seeing as he missed a couple of months after the last world cup due to 'heart complications'
Arguably been our best player so far this season so it's a loss if true. But not unexpected at all - the decision to go for yet another injury prone full back in the summer was genuinely bewildering, and somehow here we are again with one recognised full back in the squad after this same problem plagued us all of last season.
I'm guessing its Dalot at RB and Martinez as an inverted LB for the foreseeable...only other option would be Lindelof there (just no please).

It will be time to start Amass. This should in fact be a hint to us that he should start getting games. Selling Fernandez was foolish in the first place, not bringing Amass through is criminal

So Amass is critical?

I think it could work but it'd either need a hard working LW or to play a proper 3 in the middle to cover that side.
Antony can be the left sider midfielder...

De Ligt could also be an option at left back but the fact he was replaced and kept out of the Bayern side by Eric Dier of all people could be a worry.

'Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui has had a minor procedure after experiencing palpitations.'
He was perfectly fine until he was forced to watch a replay of the Spurs game.
