My son has gone to Whitby fishing and sent me some photo’s holding his catch up with northern lights in background, really good photos

Been amazing where I am. Never been this far south and seen them before.
We’ve some great photos that absolutely nobody will give a fwck about.

i just caught the end of it.
been brighter all evening. i could see a red tinge in the sky, and then 5 minutes later it was gone.
damn!

Like most things UK seemed a drab watered down version but nice to see anyway. Seemed more obvious on phones than with naked eye.

My sister went to Lapland and Iceland and didn’t manage to see them but got a decent show last night going to take the bin out.

Saw them clearly in my garden last night. First time I’ve ever seen it. I know it’s just a bit of colours but it’s still impressive
