So. Graeme Souness reckons Arsene Wenger was “lucky” as he happened to stumble across the best batch of French talent in his 22 years (twenty two!) at Arsenal. Imagine how “lucky” he could have been if French teams were banned from Europe during that time. He could have signed the French; Woods, Butcher, Wilkins, Hately etc 🤔
