Thoughts on this?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ckgnmn057r6o

Honestly, the lack of any common decency from the media just rubberstamps them as entirely complicit in the Premier League's corruption. The level of bias is unreal and like the majority of the big decisions going against us, the majority of the accompanying narratives they write detract from the truth, is it too much to ask for a middle-of-the-road take which could be considered somewhat fair / neutral?

Instead of the reality that:
1) Rice's red card (awarded by on-field referee Jarred Gillett, a Liverpool fan) was absurd and shouldn't have been a red.
2) Trossard's red card could rightly be perceived as absurdly harsh for various reasons (awarded by Michael Oliver who has screwed us / helped City on numerous occasions and is on their payroll).
3) For Saliba's yellow to be upgraded to a red by Jarred Gillett when we have Liverpool up next and it wasn't a clear and obvious error from the onfield referee is contentious at least...

They are peddling this tripe to brainwash the public into believing the anti-Arsenal narrative. Which doesn't take much since most already hate us and are quite comfortable lying (even to themselves) to attack and scapegoat us (just see 99% of the comments from morons on that article).

But of course, Arsenal being officiated by the harshest most twisted rules, receiving yellows and reds like confetti whilst opposition can get away with doing whatever they want to us with little to no repercussion and it being once in a blue moon that we get awarded even a blatantly correct decision is entirely our fault, our problem.

Hope karma comes for all of these corrupt s ASAP. The old boys club running this corrupt league, the corrupt officials doing us and the corrupt spineless media who are entirely complicit in brainwashing the public with lies to cover it all up.

I didn't see the Rice or Trossard incidents, but I think yesterday was a Red Card

Ref decided otherwise in the first place and you can see why he did that.

Why was it reviewed by VAR?

Cause VAR thought otherwise

Both yourselves and Liverpool fans think refs are corrupt. Not all of you of course.
There is absolutely no evidence of this. But there are incompetent refs.

I read this three times and really couldn't figure out the connection

Chelsea player does the EXACT same thing as Saliba and only gets a yellow. VAR decides the decision is fine.

OP is spot on.

Sunderland player handles the ball 5 yards outside the box to intercept a pass to a Hull player clean through on goal. No red as Hull player "not in control of the ball" according to PGMOL. They make the rules up as they go along Absolute shiiiteshow.

Anyone who saw Bayern v Villa would have seen Upamecano pull Watkins back twice in similar (but closer to goal) situations and not get sent off.

It went against PGMOL head Howard Webbs instructions of when VAR should get involved and is an absolute disgrace. Again.

There is a conspiracy against Arsenal

If Rice, Trossard and Saliba played for any other club except Wolves and did the same things they would not not even get a yellow.

The authorities are a bunch of corrupt cants

That the way i see it. Qver the years all teams get screwed by incompetent refs. The three calls against Arsenal here all seem correct imo.

If the Man City goal against Wolves had been scored by Arsenal then I believe it would not be given
