Anyone watched 3D football? And does it make you really go wow?!
I usually watch my big football matches at home with the family round. As all of us are Liverpool fans its a great atmosphere!
I go down to the bars ocassionaly to watch a few with my pals. But never watched it in 3D, is it any good?

Negatives: Headaches, gimmick distracts from the game, glasses, picture flicker, technology still barely depicts genuine 3D, gimmick technology is expensive and will be obsolete when everyone realises the fact...
Positives: n/a

I was away when my local got the 3D TV in, the 1st time I went in when I got back and saw all these guys wearing dark glasses I thought it was a Roy Orbison tribute night.
Must admit though it doesn't do much for me and I wouldn't go out and buy it.

ive got the 3d setup at home and although its really cool and adds something extra to the game and movies etc i think i still prefer it without 3d

Well I'm in shock. I didn't imagine that this would be seen in a bad light. Not one good review on here. My mind is made up.
I bought an HD TV around five or six years ago at £1500. I look back and think, "what in the world was I thinking?"
So I'll be giving the 3D a miss.

Didn't they create a 3D Nintendo DS or whatever it's called? A 3D technology where you don't need glasses?
The technology is there obviously.

They can do 3d tv with no glasses but only from one viewing angle. You have to be dead straight on or it's messed up. Work on nintendo 3ds because for 1 person you have to look in the perfect spot!
Rubbish

You expect me to watch millionaires roll on the floor and throw toys out of the pram in 3D, when I can't stand it in the regular two dimension screen!
I think I'll pass it.

You can actually already get 3D tv's the do not require glasses, I saw one in Harrods as long as 2/3 years ago. Think it was an LG.
It was stupidly expensive (like 10k or something), I don't think they really expected to sell, more or a show piece.
The headache was worse than glasses 3D, really couldn't watch it.
It was more like a 'concept' item.
