No excuses, it needs to be a win even with Werner playing. Palace haven't won a game this season yet. They're awful.

Warner played ok I thought. Made couple of chances, and was at the end of couple, and actually made some decent runs in the channel...I was sat at the end of all the goals went so had a chance to watch him up close, and he looked ok and value for money when you think how little he costs us, having PL and intl experiences.

His speed when you watch him live,. is frieghtening.

Just needs to relax in front of the goal and once he score a few, he will provide us with a new dimension in our system.

Of course, whats his name is now back from injury and he is more than decent for me.

We know Werner is fast and works hard, the issue has always been with how wasteful he is in and around the box. The quality is not there enough for anybody's liking. Too many good chances are wasted by him. Unlike someone like BJ who was in a similar boat and has managed to turn that form around, Werner is too old and his output insufficient for too long a period to make you think things will change.

He is a player you should bring on towards the end if you have to, when his pace and work rate could be a good asset. But we just need to try and replace him when the opportunity is there.
