It seems like our manager is more interested in building a solid defence over a really strong attack. He has spent so much money on defenders and defensive midfielders. He has certainly neglected our attack. We are desperately in need of new and good attackers - particularly a CF but he has completely ignored this. I would say that we lost the EPL last season because our attack is pretty much average. City, Liverpool and Chelsea have better attackers.
The only attackers we have who are quite decent are Odegaard, Saka and Havertz - and Havertz is not a CF with this costing us greatly last season.
Martinelli, GJ9, Trossard and Sterling are the other options and they are not world class in any way.
In January, Arteta would have to go out there and bag us a CF.

Our squad is very very light. The injuries have exposed this. Its funny how we werent this injury hit when we still had Smith-Rowe, Nelsen and that Portuguese guy on our books.

ESR would've been useful this season.

So, unhappy with a forward line valued at €325m.
You've lost the plot.

For someone who put defence over attack, 91 goals is an unimaginable amount scored!
I remember when Wenger was defensive and we conceded 17 but scored just 59!!

In fact you have to go back to the early 60s for the last time we scored more than the 88 we scored 2 seasons ago (and that was 42 games)...

Spot on! Think we scored 4 less goals over the course of the season than City last year and had multiple people in double figures. Certainly wasn't the reason we failed to win the league.
Similarly not really sure who's available that would do a better job then Harvetz at the moment? Let's also not forget that, playing as a striker in the Premier League, Havertz also has 20 goal contributions in 22 games (12 goals and 8 assists).
What I would say is that our tendency to sit back after going in front of games, when we should be putting teams away is a worry. Second half against Liverpool is the perfect example of this. Regardless of personel, it was a completely different performance to the first half.

We are tending to shut up shop at 1 goal ahead and end up paying for it
