You always kinda feel like you're in with a chance against Palace, yet in fact our record against them is poor in context. Like us they have had a poor start but are now showing signs of developing the kind of resilience that we also badly need to see from our team. Confidence boosting wins over Spurs in the league and Villa in the league cup will give them some belief that they can regain the impressive form that took them to a 10th place finish taking 6 points off us in the process.
A really important game for Wolves and Gary O'Neil in particular, the players showed last week that they are prepared to fight for points the hard way. Tightening up the sieve like defense seems to be beyond us with the players we have to deploy, so can see there being a few goals once again, given the strength of the two forwards lines.
I'd take any kind of win right now and suspect it has the makings of a decent watch for the neutral. 3-2 to Wanderers 🤞

This could be very close to the make or break time for GON. It will be the 10th league game of the season and we're out of the League Cup. In our last 19 league games, we've managed one win (2-1 home win against Luton). That, in my book, is not acceptable.
We have quality players who don't deserve to be in a dire relegation spot and that must reflect on the manager. The pressure will be on both the players and GON to deliver a result against a team that we have struggled to beat in recent times.

Think a defeat here would spell the end for GON. The atmosphere presumably would be pretty hostile if we lost as well.
A draw seems likely but hopefully Palace are far less threatening without Eze.
No doubt it will be a back four but will GON get the midfield balance right.

Fear the worst here. Defensively we're a shambles still.
Non of our three CB's should be anywhere near a Prem first eleven.
I think it will turn toxic, but I suspect that Fosun will be in the firing line not GON.
Fosun Out!

Well I'm feeling more optimistic so I'll go for a 2-1.
I'm hopeful that GON will get it right, otherwise GON will be GONE.
5 stars For Goldie, found the time even though he is away.

This comes on the back of two encouraging performances where we were unlucky to lose to City then did great to rescue a point at Brighton. But honourable performances against decent teams doesn’t necessarily turn into wins against lesser teams.
I hope Sa retains his place in goal. Santi Bueno has done well in recent games and deserves to keep his place alongside Dawson. Toti will either lose his place or move over to left back with Ait Nouri playing further forward, which I would like to see.
Gomes and Doyle look likely to be in midfield, maybe Andre as well. Lemina has been nursing an injury so might drop out for this one. Up front Larsen and Cunha pick themselves, and if we just go for two in central midfield then Sarabia might get a chance

Although we were evidently “unlucky” to lose to Man Cheaty, we had 22% possession and four touches in their penalty area as opposed to 85 for them.
They had 22 shots at goal and 18 corners!
Let’s hope our bad luck continues

Would like to see Toti at LB and RAN pushed forward personally.
