Good evening.
I just looked at the rankings of performances of champions from each of Europe's top leagues, with regards to how well they are doing in the Champions League this season.
The current rankings of the leagues are as follows:
1. Portuguese League: The Portuguese champions, Sporting, are the highest up of the champions in Champions League after Man Utd's Ruben Almorim beat the cheating English champions*. They have 10 points.
2. Scottish League: The Scottish champions thrashed the 2nd best team in Germany, after holding the Europa League champions last time out. They have now played two Bundesliga teams and a Serie A team. They have 7 points.
3. The Croatian League: Zagreb sit on 7 points after smashing two past Harry Kane's Bayern and getting some other very good results.
4. The Italian League: Inter sit on 7 points as well, after holding the cheating English champions*.
5. The German league: Bayer Leverkusen also sit on 7 points but were thrashed by the 3rd best team in the PL*
6.* The English* League*: Man City* sit on 7 points* after being thrashed by Man Utd's Ruben Amlorim's Sporting. Despite England's champions* cheating, the English languish far down the table. Horrendous times for English football, with corruption and batterings on the pitch being handed out. Is this the end for English* football* as we know it?
7. The Spanish League: Champions Real Madrid have 6 points.
8. The French League: Champions PSG have 4 points
As expected, the three best leagues in the world are The Portuguese, Croatian and Scottish leagues.
The 5 worst leagues in Europe are the English*, German, Spanish, Italian and French leagues.
Why is English* football so bad, despite years of cheating from their champions?*
Fond regards*

Expected by the results we are seeing. Sporting and Celtic are the two best teams in Europe at the moment. They may be thrashing teams in the CL but their domestic leagues offer them a tougher challenge. Celtic drew 2-2 at home to Aberdeen recently, a step up in opposition to Germany's 2nd best team. Sporting certainly don't win 4-1 every week. They were just playing a team from a week league in the CL this week.
