'Poignant' postcard

Postcard written from Titanic by Richard William Smith who wrote to a friend in Norwich saying: "Have had a fine run around to Queenstown. Just leaving for the land of stars and stripes".

As well as the poignant message, experts also point to the rarity of the Cork postmark. The auction starts 4PM on 16 November.
