It's funny isn't it, you expect others to understand your point of view on your fears of racist, but when it comes to someone who afraid of not being able to eat you just call them stupid.

If you want others to check their white privilege then how about you check your class privilege. You're not on the verge of living in your car, or having to choose between giving yourself or your children food.

Lots of people voted Trump because they felt he was listening to them. Even Bernie sanders seems to have gotten the message on this one.

Actually if you want a definition of woke it's someone who checks everyone else's privileges but doesn't bother to check their own.

Why should anyone understand yours?

People spent a lot of time from the 60s onwards to make sure everyone knew the concerns of minorities and progressively made life easier for us.

Another privilege you're not even aware of, and begrudge others.

There are arrogant megamouths who can’t wait to flaunt their self proclaimed intellectual superiority on all sides of politics.
The lefts are highlighted in the RW media and vice versa. Best IMO to remember the majority of us are centrists with a mix of moderate L/R tendencies.
Best for all really if we stopped flogging the L/R tags, won’t happen though as it’s a convenient divider of the masses.
