left at home, and most of the 1st team would be sitting on the bench, I knew Spurs wouldn't be winning. Ange clearly used this as a chance to give the youngsters a run out, and the squad players. I suspect he just used this as a training exercise.
No big deal to lose the odd game in this over bloated long drawn out competition. European football used to be exciting with two legged knockout ties. Now I just cannot get excited with these long drawn out group stages.
Spurs hopefully will progress. Go full strength against Roma and Rangers, should be job done. Then the competition may start to get exciting.
On to Ipswich now, and should be a routine three points.

The scoreline did not do us justice. Lucky Ange again it should of been 6.
Osimhen is world class and we should of been in for him.

Any player that apparently has a good game against Spurs is world class. Osimhen missed a lot more than he scored against what started as pretty well a B team. He is a decent player, but the term world class is used far to often for players like him.

We got away with it today. Could quite have easily been on the end of a 6 or 7 goal lashing and that would have drastically changed the reaction from fans. I've said that performances have generally been good this season but that is another to add to the list of ones we've been very poor in. Obviously you hope players learn from it and Ange learns more about the weaknesses of his squad.
Get a good win at the weekend and order has been restored...for now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Two of the three worse performances came with the B team, Coventry and tonight. The only poor performance with the 1st XI was Palace. I think I can live with that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We've had spells in other games where we've been rubbish - second half vs Brighton, against Leicester too. If we can keep them to being infrequent then I won't mind, especially in a game like yesterday where there's not a huge amount riding on it.
Now I would like to see us go on a good league run. Admittedly, a loss to City would be understandable but we should be able to give a good account of ourselves in this game, and as for the the games around this, we should be picking up decent points and going unbeaten.

Should have been out of sight in the 1st half against both Brighton and Leicester, so performance wise not to bad, save for just a 20 minute spell against Brighton and they were mugged by Leicester.

That Galatasaray team is full of quality, people acting like we just got tucked in by Cork City

Unlike that other North London team, you actually seemed to play better with 10. Was an entertaining game to watch too.

How can you say they have been rubbish.
In touch, and could be top four by the weekend.
Through to the last eight of the Carabou, with every chance of reaching a semi final.
In the top eight of the Europa Group, and ideally placed to reach the last 16.
What's not to like about that in early November?

I said the second half against Brighton was rubbish. We have played decent overall this season.
Also let's not get too excited yet. Show some more consistency in the league first and then maybe we can talk about how well things are going.

Assume you must think City, Arsenal and Villa are also rubbish, as they have also been inconsistent this season.
