As the USA have their three main sports, versions of netball, rounders and British Bulldog, I would think zero effect on real sports.

As usual you didn't read the article and are ignorant of the issue. The USA is hosting two major sporting events.
And the Olympic Games is one they excel at.
And if you think the Olympics is not a "real Sport" you are a total ignoramus as regards the history of sport.

But the problem is his power, not his weight.
Yes he did refuse to release his medical records.
