Can’t say it would come as a surprise that Arteta and the club are without a doubt held to a higher standard than every other premiere league club, especially in the media.
How many times do we see the City players run up and crowd the ref when their players go down - nothing is ever mentioned.
How many times do we see Pep grabbing an opposition players and giving them an earful- nothing is ever said.
Feels like they have a free pass to do what they like and that goes for during the game too. Worrying that they appear to have so much free reign to do as they please
Tonight after the game, Pep enters the pitch, goes up to the Brighton centre half Van Hecke and has a few words in his ear.
Pep was asked about the incident and said "He was strong with Erling, I said 'when Erling then stands up to you, stay on your feet, don't go to the grass'. But he played a really good game."
Now imagine Mikel goes into the pitch after defeat, grabs the opposition player and gives them an earful. He’d be fined and given a suspension!
In fact the media seem to celebrate this behaviour from Pep. Weird
Double standards in the media

Every one has their favourites, that's why we still have Zini and Jesus, while ESR and Nelson are doing good things at Fulham .

I'm sure players take it as a compliment when Pep speaks to them.

So it’s the refs AND the media against Arsenal?
It’s a miracle that Arsenal manage to avoid relegation, never mind managing to consistently challenge for the title. A truly great achievement with so many dark forces plotting against you.

These type of articles are far too common for your board. Whenever you lose it's the refs fault. Not when someone else loses it highlights how the media favour them over you.
Honestly, some of you guys (not all) are the most paranoid and self entitled.

It's absolutely true that Arsenal are treated differently to any other Prem side & I congratulate the OP for having the gonads to say it openly on this forum...it can't have been easy
Its been going on far too long....it's disgraceful and somebody needs to be made an example of at the highest level

It's good to see Arsenal fans finally acknowledging a double standard in refereeing decisions. I'm sure there was a massive outcry from ja606's Arsenal fans when Mings conceded a penalty this week, even though Gabriel wasn't punished for a similar incident.

You need to stop this crap, your player played basketball in the box against us and got away with it.
You consistently have decisions go your way, in addition to playing shiiiite football and resorting to gamesmanship. Awful fans, awful club.

So we had the it's PL refs who are to blame, citing European refs are better.
Then we have European refs are to blame
Then the OP blames the media
Where does the blame lie tonight?
