Fantastic win!!!

A very dominant performance today, and with a number of changes.

Declan Rice wasn't risked as his broken toe kept him on the bench, while Thomas Partey was also benched. Jorginho thus completed the midfield 3 with Odegaard and Merino. Timber and Calafiori played full back in what is arguably our best back 4. Jesus was in for Havertz, while Trossard started ahead of Martinelli. Saka was fit enough to start.

We had an early goal disallowed for offside. Saka then scored a legitimate goal, showing great footwork before despatching an unstoppable shot past Sels. It was all we managed in the first half, and some were worried we would rue not extending the lead.

Partey came on at half time for the booked Jorginho, and it didn't take long for the Ghanaian to curl a stunner into the corner of the Forest net to make it 2-0.

The game lulled into a bit of a practice match before 17 year old Ethan Nwaneri came on. Almost immediately he breezed past Murillo and curled the ball just the wrong side of the post. Not deterred, he picked up the ball in midfield, passed to the right and continued his run into the box. Sterling cut it back to him and Nwaneri confidently passed the ball into the back of the net to make it 3-0.

Although we were rarely worried, Jota saw an offside goal ruled out.

A very professional job, with Martin Odegaard at the centre of it all. The Norwegian was arguably man of the match and looks back to his best.

Next up is the difficult trip to Sporting.

Nwaneri is one of our top.scores this season. Liverpool lost to Forest at home. It's a long way to go in the league.

Sterling ready to let loose pure hell on this league now

Odegaard has been brilliant in both the games his been back. Just goes to show what a brilliant player he is. So important for us. We went on that mad run last season even with kiwior playing at left back.

Solid win just what we needed in a crucial period. Odegaard ran the game especially in the first half he makes such a difference. Nwaneri's talent is obvious but the thing I like is that you can see he knows he's good and for a 17 year old that is so rare.

Hopefully he gets in the team early like saka and then stays in

It was a comfortable and good win for the Arsenal. The second goal came at the right time for us I felt we were too passive.

Saka and Ode outstanding. In general a very good performance from all of our players. Trossy was decent but faded in the second half.

Timber was very good as well.

Don't want to jinx it but it looks like the other lot are gonna take points off City. Could turn into a decent weekend. Probably asking too much for Southampton to nick something as well.

It is already at the point where we have to win 7 or 8 in a row, and the fixtures should give us a chance to do that.
