Lets take a leaf out of ol Maureens book! That is take a player that would make ANOTHER team stronger...yes, it's not the only reason we should get Zubimendi, we also need him and he would make us stronger.
Taking Zubimendi would also deny City a player replacement for the injured Rodri, and that could make city much more dangerous....bizarrely the signing of Zubimendi "could" be difference in winning the title, but not because he makes us stronger...but more it makes city weaker!!
Make the Zubimendi siging in January and it's a hole in City's ship and massive uplift for us...

I think zubimendi is unlikely to be a "Fred" or the later version of A Sanchez....I think we are safe on that.
