Who's left on here?

I'm quite happy on Bolton till I die for most things but matchday is an absolute free for all, loads of different posts where this is a lot more user friendly. I did ask their admin if we could do a match thread on there but didn't get a definitive answer. I also pushed this site on there but had no interest. Shame it's come to this but guess forums like this aren't the future. I might do the summer thread because I found it helpful keeping up with the comings and goings. I have neglected the forum of late basically because I have been too busy with our move of house. It took us over two weeks to do a deep clean which was necessary because my wife suffers from an allergic reaction to dogs and cats and the last owner had two cats.

Further to that we are still looking for furniture and other items that we need to make the house a home. I have been so tired that I sit down to watch TV and fall quickly into a deep sleep. I have to say that I have not had the inclination to worry about BWFC and only today have I felt like taking a look at the BN. I was going to take part in the forum today but realised that the game took place last night. That is how much notice I have taken over the last few weeks.

I can see where you are coming from as it takes effort to set up the live match thread, so the choice is your choice and no one else.

If that is your decision, I thank you for all the work you have put in over the years. You have been a shining star on the forum. Thanks for all the good years. It is a sad day.

Thanks swie. Good to hear you ok. Thinking of a 'winter thread' going forward which would keep up to date the comings and goings in the January window plus the 8 matches we will play. See how that goes. I have missed it on here definitely but got down with the lack of activity on the match day threads.

Hi Benny, that would be good. We are going to our daughters at Bromley Cross for a couple of days over Christmas, so I won't be present on the forum until I get back on the Wyre.

We are now living in a village just south of Garstang, which is a good location for our son, who lives in Lancaster, and our daughter, who lives in Bolton.

Hope everyone had a decent Christmas without the 2 hours of ruination that Boxing Day sent us.

Hopefully Sunday brings about one last decent result to round off what's been quite a bad year for the club results and performance wise. With the odd exception.

It's good to see a comment from a regular poster. Maybe a few comments and threads will keep this board ticking over.

Losing Pasty did the damage, it's such a pity that one idiot has managed to almost destroy the Bolton page on the forum.

Swie, we used to have great posters before, MT, Cef, the brilliant Large Hat who did the match thread before or my old mate Benny ruined it.God bless Benny, but hes not the brightest
