Ruud ๐Ÿ‘

Got his Leicester stint off to a great start with a 3-1 win against West Ham. Iโ€™m glad we got Amorim and feel heโ€™s the magic man (also a great Heart song, check it out) but I feel in an alternative universe Ruud would have a done a good job at United as our post Ten Hag manager. Maybe one day heโ€™ll return to fulfil his destiny.

Hopefully he keeps doing a great job at Leicester and bucks the trend of SAF players not being that great in management.

If they play like that against anybody decent they'll get thrashed. West Ham absolutely dominated the game, missed a host of chances, had a goal disallowed which was extremely soft to say the least at 1-0.

Did well on the counter however, if there's any positives to take, apart from the three points of course.

He's had two training sessions mate. He's not Houdini.

Winning 3-1 playing as average as they did is a good sign really. I think he will keep them up...just. it will be close but I can see them finishing 16th or 17th.

Will this be the year Everton's luck finally runs out? I think it could be on what I saw at the weekend. Their players had a good 15 mins and then totally collapsed against us and we are bang average.

Maybe Ruud would've been better going to Everton, and Dyche more suited for Leicester.

5 of Leicester's next 6 fixtures look very tough. He'll do well to get 4 points out of that lot. Ruud will no doubt get the blame if results are poor, and little credit if they pick up any points as it'll be because the other team were poor.

Sounds in interviews like a passionate man that bodes well for his club
Not a recluse either

I think there might be an almighty relegation scrap this season.

The bottom two sides are going down, I reckon. But there are four or five sides I can see duking it out to avoid finishing 18th.

Ipswich are just very short on quality. A lot of players were brought in to improve on what was already there, but they're still mostly Championship material.

Not to say McKenna can't make them work as a unit, but the PL is a very unforgiving environment to have to do that it.

In hindsight, it might have been preferable to target fewer, more PL-ready players.

Barely laying a glove on Palace last night must be pretty demoralising, but there's still plenty of time to turn it around. Let's see where we are by the end of Feb.

I always looked to me like Ipswich’s transfer policy had an eye on coming straight back up due to signing many of the best players in the Championship.

I reckon I could beat West Ham 3-1, they're dogwank.

Still think it will be the promoted three who go down. Sorry, Ruud.

Everton are the only other team I could see changing that (with Leicester surviving). They don't seem to have anywhere near the attacking quality of Wolves, Palace or West Ham, for instance.

Surely a score draw in that case.
