Bournemouth V Tottenham Match Build Up

I think it will be a draw, I’m going 2-2.
League wise, I don’t really care it’s all about the cups for me - although the Ipswich performance really pizzed me off.
We’re treading water again this season, Son needs replacing, Werner needs faaacking off, Romero has had a season to forget so far, the new youngsters all need experience and DJed Spence needs to be forgiven. Another big summer - I look forward to us moving like a sloth in treacle.
The shiete rotation is bothering me though - giving Maddison 8 mins in the Ipswich game. Then starting both Madders and Kulu against City, pick up a great win only to bench Madders in the Roma game and then Kulu in the Fulham game. Just start them together as much as you can Ange mate and one gets injured then so be it

We all know it's totally unpredictable what we will get tonight. Our form book is very sketchy so who knows.
One thing I'm sure of we are all behind the team 100%, regardless of the what gets said before, during and after games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Im totally behind Ange. I don’t think he’s the problem at all. I think this is as good as it can get under Enic. At least we get some decent football every now and again.
I won’t pay the ticket prices that levy charges though. I simply don’t think it’s worth it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you think this is just on the quality of the squad and players we have available and not on Ange, then it must be confusing as to why we got such big wins against the likes of City, United and Villa? Or do you just think it's because these teams were poor at the time?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we have had several more injuries since those results and the squad players are not good enough to fill in. As I said 40 million for a kid Ange doesn’t seem to trust to start a premier league game was foolish without also bringing in adequate back up to key positions
I think the continual drip drip of injuries has left Ange with nothing to work with. Hence the last few results.
I don’t think ange is blameless, I question his in game management often, but I think you need to be realistic as to what he can achieve under Enic.

Every time I watch Gray I think this guy should be starting. Out of all the youngsters brought in, he is the one I would have no issues with starting game after game. If we look after him he will be with us for a decade plus, he has everything for the top level - Ange just doesn’t pick him in the league though, his man is is Porto and he won’t deviate no matter how often we concede down that side.
I don’t think Ange’s decisions make sense either. Is he rotating Maddison and Kulu for tactical reasons or to keep them rested? If it’s tactical it’s stupid, we look at our best with both in. If it’s for rest reasons - why are those 2 getting so much more than others - take Udogie for instance who we seem happy to run into the ground despite DJed Spence looking good every time he gets a 2 minute cameo.
Ange sucked the momentum out of that City win by diiiicking around too much against Roma and Fulham - just play your strongest team. If Solanke is out we can’t afford to Kulu on the bench as well - really weird decision.
Like I said though - I’m judging him on the cups, couldn’t give a schitt about the league, that’s for the Levy boys

Agree with pretty much everything you’ve said
I don’t think the transfer policy and the first team management share the same strategy at all
Are we planning for the future? Fine. Start playing these youngsters then and stop running others into the ground or injury
Are we meant to have a full squad that we can rotate and cope with these injuries and gradually get the youngsters involved?
Fine. Then sign some first teamers ffs
Just seems like the usual Enic rubbish but with a couple of extra mugs for levy to hide behind.

Absolutely.
I don’t expect our transfer policy to align with a managers needs - the only 2 times that happened under Enoch was when we were in relegation trouble and in Poch’s final summer - Levy stuck to that plan for 3 months.
In Ange, Levy hasn’t hired the next Poch who will bring the youngsters through.
So as usual, our strategy (and it’s a faaaacking stretch calling it that) is muddled at best.
As long as Levy lets Ange have a go in the cups this season and Ange actually does have a go - I think that’s the best we can hope for along with a top 8 finish.
