If Celtic get offered £6m for Brown, I don't even think they would consider saying no. Brown is too inconsistent, his passing is poor and they have Kayal to snap at opposition players.
Look at it this way, if Celtic get £6m for Brown they can offer a better deal to Kayal and Izaguirre to keep them.

There has to be a clear-out at Celtic this summer. Ideally Lennon will want to keep his better players and sell fringe players to bring in money and free up wages to allow him to add quality in certain areas of the team as he has said he wants to do.
But he will have to sell players. It is basic finance.

As an example, and I have stated this before, Celtic had about 12 midfielders in the 1st team squad at the end of the season. What is the point of that? At least three will go including Freddie (if he isn't already away) together with a couple from McGinn, McCourt, Maloney, Jaurez - in fact probably all of them.
